Yes. Boody period underwear is certified to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and made without PFAS, the long-lasting chemicals sometimes used to make textiles water resistant. The leak-proof layer performs without them.

Boody period underwear can be worn for up to 8 to 12 hours, depending on your flow and the absorbency of the style. On lighter days a single pair covers a full day or overnight. On heavier days, change more often or wear it as backup with a tampon or cup.

Period underwear works through absorbent layers built into the gusset: a moisture-wicking top layer moves liquid away from the skin, an absorbent core holds it, and a leak-proof barrier stops it reaching clothing. Rinse period underwear in cold water after wearing until the water runs clear, then machine wash cold in a laundry bag with similar colours and a mild detergent.
