Bamboo viscose fibres are finer and smoother than most cotton, giving a silk-like softness that feels gentler on skin. It also breathes better and wicks moisture, so it regulates temperature rather than holding heat. Boody garments add natural stretch for unrestricted movement and a smooth drape under layers.

Wash bamboo viscose clothing on a warm, gentle cycle with similar colours and a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softener, and turn dark or printed pieces inside out. Line dry in the shade rather than tumble drying, since heat damages the fibres and direct Australian sun fades colour.

Bamboo viscose is absorbent, so it holds more water than synthetics, but its breathable knit dries efficiently when hung somewhere well ventilated and out of direct sun. While it is worn, moisture-wicking moves sweat away from the skin so it evaporates faster, which is why it feels drier than heavy cotton.
